A body lift is an extensive surgical procedure intended for patients after significant weight loss, aimed at removing excess skin and fat tissue and restoring the firmness and proportions of the figure. The procedure usually covers the abdomen, flanks, buttocks and thighs, where lax, hanging skin most often remains after weight reduction. At Luna Clinic we use techniques that allow simultaneous tightening of the abdominal wall, lifting of the buttocks and modelling of the thighs and waist.
At Luna Clinic we plan the body lift individually - often as a circumferential lift (belt lipectomy) covering the whole circumference of the torso, with simultaneous tightening of the abdominal wall, lifting of the buttocks and modelling of the waist. The scars are placed so that they can be hidden under underwear.
