Indications
An aesthetic medicine consultation is indicated for people who notice the first signs of ageing - expression wrinkles, loss of firmness, volume or skin radiance - and want to select safe, effective methods of correcting them. The doctor analyses the needs and proposes a plan tailored to expectations and possibilities.
The visit is also the first step before a specific procedure: botulinum toxin, fillers, mesotherapy or stimulating therapies. Medical qualification makes it possible to rule out contraindications and to plan the procedure so that the effect remains natural.
It is also worth coming to a consultation with problems such as hyperhidrosis, bruxism, post-acne scars, discolouration or loss of facial contour. Modern aesthetic medicine offers effective, minimally invasive solutions for them.
If you don’t know where to start - the consultation is exactly for you. The doctor will organise the options, indicate the treatments with the greatest impact on the result and help spread the plan over time, also in terms of costs.
Health interview
We begin every consultation with a detailed health interview: we ask about chronic diseases, medications and supplements taken, allergies, previous aesthetic procedures and lifestyle. It is the foundation of safe qualification - it allows contraindications to be ruled out and procedures to be chosen that we can perform without risk.
Skin and facial analysis
The doctor assesses the skin condition - hydration, elasticity, tone - as well as the proportions and expression of the face at rest and in motion. On this basis an individual treatment plan is created: from procedures with the greatest impact on the result to maintenance measures and home care.
Benefits of the consultation
Thanks to the consultation you receive reliable knowledge about the options, realistic effects and costs - without pressure to have a procedure. It is also a matter of safety: the procedures selected by the doctor work together with each other and with your health, and the effects remain natural.
Frequently asked questions
What does an aesthetic medicine consultation at Luna Clinic look like?
The doctor conducts a health interview, analyses the skin and facial features, learns your expectations and then proposes a treatment plan with a discussion of effects, limitations and costs. The consultation is also a time for all your questions.
Does the consultation oblige you to undergo a procedure?
No - the consultation serves reliable information and qualification. You make the decision without pressure; if a procedure will not bring the expected effect or is unnecessary, we will say so directly.
How to prepare for an aesthetic medicine consultation?
Come without make-up or with the option to remove it, prepare a list of medications and supplements as well as information about previous aesthetic procedures. It is worth considering what specifically you want to improve.
Can a procedure be performed during the consultation?
Often yes - after qualification, simple procedures such as botulinum toxin or mesotherapy are performed during the same visit. We plan more complex procedures for a separate appointment.
Which procedures can an aesthetic medicine doctor propose?
At Luna Clinic, among others, botulinum toxin, fillers and volumetry, the 3P lift, mesotherapy, Dermapen, Hydra Booster, tropocollagen, treatment of hyperhidrosis and bruxism. We always tailor the plan to the needs.
How does aesthetic medicine differ from plastic surgery?
Aesthetic medicine means minimally invasive procedures, without a scalpel or long recovery; plastic surgery means operations. At Luna Clinic both fields cooperate - the doctor will indicate which method will give a better result.
Does the treatment plan take my budget into account?
Yes - we propose variants of different scope and a spread of treatments over time, starting with procedures with the greatest impact on the result. The quote is transparent and discussed before the therapy begins.
How often should aesthetic medicine treatments be repeated?
Depending on the procedure: botulinum toxin every 4-6 months, hyaluronic acid every 12-18 months, stimulating treatments in series with top-up sessions. The schedule is set by the treating doctor.
Are aesthetic medicine treatments safe?
Yes, provided they are performed by a doctor, with certified products and after proper qualification. During the consultation we also discuss possible side effects and contraindications.
From what age is it worth coming for a consultation?
There is no age limit - ageing prevention often starts around the age of 30, but a plan can be drawn up at any stage. Minors require a guardian’s consent and medical indications.
Does the consultation include an analysis of home care?
Yes - the doctor recommends cosmetics and habits that support the effects of treatments, including photoprotection. Good home care prolongs the results of in-office therapies.
How much does an aesthetic medicine consultation cost in Wrocław?
You will find the current price in the Luna Clinic price list. During the visit you receive a full analysis, a treatment plan and a quote - without any obligation to proceed.
