Aesthetic medicine consultations and treatments at Luna Clinic are carried out by Dr Tomasz Windysz, so he is the doctor you meet at your first visit. During the aesthetic medicine consultation he asks about your health, medicines, allergies and any previous treatments, looks at your skin and at the proportions and expressions of your face, and then suggests a treatment plan, explaining what each treatment can and cannot do and what it costs.
He also carries out the treatments in that plan. Once you have been assessed, simple procedures such as botulinum toxin or mesotherapy can often be done on the day of the consultation; more complex ones are booked separately. Dermapen and tropocollagen are usually given as a course, and the doctor decides how far apart the sessions should be.
If Dr Windysz feels that surgery would be the better option for you, he will suggest a consultation with a plastic surgeon. Patients with excessive sweating whose cause needs investigating may also be referred to our dermatologist, and botulinum toxin for bruxism can be combined with transbuccal massage.

Aesthetic medicine consultation - an appointment at which the doctor assesses your skin and facial features, rules out contraindications and draws up a treatment plan.
Botulinum toxin treatment - a medicine injected in small doses into selected facial muscles to relax them for a time, most often for forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet.
Expression line treatment - lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes are treated mainly with botulinum toxin, and deeper, established creases with hyaluronic acid.
Bruxism treatment - botulinum toxin injected into the masseter muscles reduces the force of their contraction in people who clench or grind their teeth.
Treatment of excessive sweating - botulinum toxin injected into the skin of the underarms, hands or feet temporarily reduces the activity of the sweat glands in that area.
Lip augmentation - hyaluronic acid placed in the lips and along their outline can add volume, improve symmetry or simply hydrate them; the effect is temporary.
Facial volumisation - hyaluronic acid used to restore volume lost with age in the cheeks, temples, chin or along the jawline.
3P volumetric lift - hyaluronic acid placed at three support points of the face to lift the cheek tissues and improve the facial outline without surgery.
Hydra Booster - small amounts of hyaluronic acid injected into the skin, where it binds water, to hydrate it without changing your features.
Mesotherapy - a series of shallow injections that deliver a nourishing product, such as hyaluronic acid or vitamins, into the skin of the face, neck, décolletage or scalp.
Dermapen microneedling - very fine needles create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen and elastin production; usually done as a course.
Tropocollagen treatment - a collagen product used on the face, neck and décolletage and for scars and stretch marks, usually as a course of sessions.
Lipofilling - your own fat, harvested by gentle liposuction and purified, is transferred to areas that lack volume.
