Dr Aleksandra Łuniewska - plastic surgeon in Wrocław

A plastic surgery specialist with over 17 years of professional experience, founder and lead surgeon of Luna Clinic in Wrocław. She operates on the face, breasts, body and intimate areas and also performs gender-affirming surgery.

She is a member of the Polish Society of Plastic Surgery. She runs consultations in person: she assesses indications, discusses techniques, risks and recovery, and when a procedure is not needed, she says so directly.

Experience and qualifications

She completed her medical studies in Silesia, then did her postgraduate internship in Częstochowa, after which she moved to Wrocław - the city with which she has linked her career. She gained experience in the Plastic Surgery Ward of the hospital on ul. Wiśniowa in Wrocław, working at the same time as a volunteer in the plastic surgery ward and taking shifts in the emergency medical service.

She began her specialisation training in plastic surgery in Gdańsk and completed it in Wrocław, obtaining the title of plastic surgeon. For years she worked with other plastic surgeons, including at the practice of Dr Jawiński.

In parallel, for several years she worked as a physician in the emergency department (ER) and the ambulance service. This work taught her to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions, with patient safety coming first.

She is a member of the Polish Society of Plastic Surgery and improves her qualifications at training courses and scientific conferences. In 2023 she fulfilled her dream of having her own clinic - and so Luna Clinic came into being.

Approach to the patient

At the centre of attention is the person, not a “medical case”. Dr Łuniewska conducts every consultation in the atmosphere of a conversation - she listens carefully to the patient’s expectations and asks questions to understand their motivations. She openly says which results are achievable, and when she considers a procedure unnecessary - she says so directly.

Naturalness above all: the goal is to bring out the patient’s individual beauty, to improve imperfections so that the final result is aesthetic but not artificial. After procedures, patients look like a rested, younger version of themselves - not like completely different people.

As a female plastic surgeon, she brings a woman’s point of view to the world of aesthetic medicine. She understands how strongly complexes related to appearance affect self-esteem - and she builds a relationship based on trust: even before the procedure, the patient knows exactly what to expect, what the risks are and how recovery will proceed.

Privately, she is a person full of passion and energy. Development gives her satisfaction: she constantly learns new techniques and introduces innovations to the clinic. At the same time, she values calm - both at work and in everyday life. Her mission is not only to operate but also to educate and familiarise people with the subject of plastic surgery.
