Treatment effects
The result of prominent ear correction is ears lying close to the head at a natural angle, with a clearly formed antihelix and the auricle’s own character preserved. The result is permanent and visible immediately after the dressing is removed. For children it is often the end of teasing by peers, for adults - of a years-long complex.
The procedure enables the auricles to be brought closer to the head and the angle of their protrusion to be reduced, which improves the proportions and symmetry of the ears relative to the face. The scar from the surgical intervention is discreetly hidden behind the auricle, so it remains almost invisible.
