Hyperhidrosis in the underarm area, which causes wet patches on clothes and an unpleasant odour, is an indication for treatment. Treatments using botulinum toxin (botox) effectively reduce the activity of the sweat glands, improving the comfort of everyday life. The effect lasts from 6 to 12 months.

Does the hyperhidrosis treatment hurt?
The discomfort is minor - we use a local anaesthetic cream, and the injections are performed with a very fine needle. The area of the hands and feet is more sensitive, so we anaesthetise it more thoroughly.

The first reduction in sweating is felt after 2-4 days, and the full effect develops within 2 weeks after the injections.
How to prepare for the procedure?
24-48 hours before the treatment stop alcohol, shave the underarms the day before and come without antiperspirant. Inform the doctor about the medications you take, especially blood-thinners.
Are there contraindications to hyperhidrosis treatment?
Yes - including pregnancy and breastfeeding, myasthenia and other neuromuscular diseases, an active skin infection at the injection site and an allergy to the product’s ingredients. Qualification is carried out by a doctor.
Does hyperhidrosis require prior diagnostics?
With a sudden onset, night sweating or general symptoms, the doctor may order tests to rule out secondary causes, e.g. hormonal disorders. Typical primary hyperhidrosis does not require extensive tests.
Can the treatment be performed in summer?

How often can the treatment be repeated?
