Pain-relief blocks are a procedure involving the precise administration of a medication - most often an anaesthetic with an anti-inflammatory drug - into the area affected by pain: into a joint, around a nerve or at an attachment point. Course of the procedure
The block is performed on an outpatient basis - without the need to stay at the clinic.
